The Cervelló family resided here until the 18th century, when the building was sold to the Giudice family, an important line of Genoese merchants. The palace was built in the 16th century and used parts of a 15th century palace. The Moco Museum Barcelona has found its home in Palacio Cervelló, the private residence of the Cervelló noble family.
